UAE Pension (GPSSA) – Emiratis & GCC Nationals

The UAE pension system applies to UAE nationals (and GCC citizens under coordination with their home schemes). Employers must register Emirati staff and contribute monthly under GPSSA. Expatriate employees are not covered by GPSSA and instead receive EOSB/gratuity

  • Pension calculation (GPSSA): Based on the average contribution salary over the last 3–5 years and service‑based entitlement rates (e.g., 60% at 15 years, scaling up to 100% at 35 years)

End of Service Benefits (EOSB) & Gratuity (UAE)

In the UAE private sector, eligible employees are entitled to end‑of‑service gratuity based on basic salary and length of service. (Allowances/bonuses are excluded from the gratuity base.)
